The Brief
Most municipal signage typefaces prioritize legibility over personality. I wanted to see if a display face could do both — read clearly at speed and still feel considered.
Process
I drew the typeface around a small set of hard constraints — stroke width, counter size, a minimum viewing distance — then let the specimen booklet document the reasoning, not just the letters.

Results
The specimen was picked up and shared by two independent type foundries' newsletters.
