The Brief
A new ambient label's debut release needed sleeve art that wouldn't compete with the music's stillness — most record art aims for the opposite.
Process
I spent longer removing elements than adding them, testing versions against the actual mastered tracks until the art stopped fighting for attention.

A minimal, slow-reveal sleeve design built from a single gradient and restrained type, matching the record's own patience.
Results
The label adopted the same restrained visual language for its next three releases.
